Rona Goodman, the Principal of Goodman Media Inc. is an accomplished marketing and media professional with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, specializing in marketing, promotions, public relations, event management, advertising, media buying and sponsorship. Rona began her career in the early 80’s as an artist and songwriter touring and recording with various groups throughout Canada. In 1990 she was called upon to coordinate one of the premier music events in Canada, the West Coast Music Exposition (Music West). Rona’s career continued to thrive as she accepted a position at MCA Records followed by a position as Senior Sales Representative for BMG Records.
Rona commenced Goodman Media Inc. in 1995. One of her first clients was a small BC country music event, The Merritt Mountain Music Festival. For 13 years Rona was responsible for the marketing, promotions and publicity for the festival. It is now one of the largest festivals in North America.
Rona has earned respect and admiration from her colleagues due to her outgoing and friendly personality, strong work ethic and creativity. Her client list ranges from The Variety Club Show of Hearts Telethon, The Harlem Globetrotters, The Dixie Chicks to Great Canadian Casinos' River Rock and Red Robinson Show Theatres.
